    Cheren's eyes are blue. The new rival's eyes are brown. As for the protagonists, their eyes are bigger, rounder and they took away the female's eyelashes, which makes them both look younger instead of older. I would imagine the similarities in their designs are meant to reference the previous...

    Personally I'm disregarding that possibility because I highly doubt they would just arbitrarily change characters' eyecolors and make them look two years younger instead of two years older.

    I'm pretty excited about the new protagonists. The last game's female protagonist was so... daisy-duke-shorts-wearing that I had to play as the dude for the first time since the original Gold and Silver, but this new girl is fucking adorable and is probably my favorite female protagonist ever...

    Wait, so why do people think there's going to be a postgame Hoenn again? Because the logos have red and blue or something? That's it? All of the games that had other regions postgame were remakes... FRLG had those island things and HGSS were remakes of games that had postgame regions already...
